Language
You will be able to speak English to Singaporeans, most of whom are fluent in it. Many Singaporeans also speak an additional language, usually Mandarin Chinese, Malay or Tamil.

Currency and Exchange Rate
The Singapore dollar (SGD) is used here and notes come in denominations of S$2, S$5, S$10, S$50, S$100, S$1,000 and S$10,000. Coins come in 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents and S$1. 100 HKD = Around 17 SGD 

Visa Information
Holders of HKSAR passport or BNO passport (with at least 6 months of validity) can enter Singapore without visa. Holders of SAR passport can stay up to 30 days.

Safe Drinking Water 
You can drink water straight from the tap as the water in Singapore passes World Health Organization standards.
